LeBron James is reportedly unhappy with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver after Silver publicly urged the four-time champion to make a decision on his free-agency future.

James, 41, has remained unsigned since late June, with the 2026-27 NBA season approaching. According to reports, James’ camp had been preparing to announce his decision last week but ultimately delayed it.
Silver recently said he wanted James to make his announcement so the league could finalise its schedule, with teams and television networks waiting for clarity.
The comments reportedly irritated James, adding another twist to the uncertainty surrounding his next move.
